John Carr is the developer of Wishing Well MewsTM and has built distinctive custom homes with innovative designs in Connecticut for the past 20 years. As the recipient of numerous prestigious building awards, he also has international experience designing opera houses, theaters and educational facilities.
John Carr is a graduate of Cornell University with a Masters Degree in Engineering and has postgraduate Executive Development from Harvard University. He was Vice-president of the Connecticut Home Builder’s Association and is a charter member and past President of the Litchfield County Home Builder’s Association.
John takes his contribution to community seriously and has been a Trustee and member of the Danbury Hospital for 10 years; in addition he has served as Chairman of the Board of the Charles Ives Center. John has been recognized for his involvement in youth community activities including senior leadership in Boy Scouts. Most recently, he organized a group to rebuild a key church in New Orleans that was a hub in the community.
